Instructions explain the use of S1812 and S1814 when used as a double space requiring a PA system
Step-by-step guide

To hold a conference in rooms S1812/S1814 Touch Panel
- Book both rooms S1812/S1814 through Facilities-Room Bookings. Facilities will arrange for the divider wall to be open between the rooms.
- Obtain the Conference system passcode from Room Bookings.
- Book a wired microphone system from Library: 1 or 2 Shure SM 58 microphones, XLR cable(s), mic stand(s) with clip and black gaffers tape.

Set up Library microphone system in room S1812
- Plug one end of the XLR cable into the wired microphone and the other end into the XLR Mic input plate on the side of the S1812 desk.
- Set up microphone stand and place microphone in the mic clip.
- Use black gaffers tape to tape down the cable to prevent tripping.
- Turn on wired microphone (if necessary).

Select Conference Speakers
- On the Touch Panel, select Conference Speakers. The Conference password number pad appears on screen.
- Type in the passcode provided by Room Bookings, then select Enter. Ceiling speakers will now activate in both rooms.
- If needed, select X, upper right, to close the page.

Touch the screen to select display input: PC, Laptop VGA, Laptop HDMI or Doc Cam. Input buttons located across top of screen.

Adjust audio levels
- Select Audio Control.
- To adjust the two wired mics' audio levels, use the slider under Wired Mackie Mixer.
- Select X, upper right, to close the Audio Control page
- On the main page, use the Speaker Volume slider to adjust overall audio level.
- For PC audio, adjust PC audio levels on the computer.

Conference PA breakdown
- Select System Shutdown. The confirmation page opens.
- Select Power Down.
- Carefully pull up black gaffers tape and throw away.
- Disconnect PA equipment and return borrowed equipment to Library.
