Step-by-step guide

Touch the Crestron touch panel at the work desk.

Interview Mode

  1. Select INTERVIEW on the panel. Interview Mode opens. Faculty and Students can now see and hear the student and actor in Interview Room B.

  1. Select Room Volume. Adjust levels on the touch panel as needed. ROOM B is the Interview Room.

  1. To speak directly to the Interview Room, press the microphone button (red light appears). Press mic button again to turn off .

Prepare to Record

 
  1. a. If needed, set Crestron MOUSE/KEYBOARD to MEDIASITE
    b. Switch to using the monitor and keyboard (left).

  1. The Mediasite Recorder window is on screen. If not, open the Mediasite browser and Recorder will appear.
 
  1. In upper left of screen, select New to open New Presentation window – Leave the Title blank for the moment.

  1. Select Create New From Template.

  1. Scroll through and select your Named Template from the list below.
 
  1. Click to check mark your template then highlight and copy & paste the template’s name into the Title area.
 
  1. Append pasted title to the Week# and Student’s name.

  1. Select Create in the lower right of screen.

Record Video

 
  1. When ready, select the Record button, located at bottom of screen.

  1. On computer monitor, in Record mode, the Pause and Stop buttons appear at bottom of screen.

a. Select Pause to have multiple sessions within one recording.

b. Select Stop to completely stop and package the recording.

  1. Repeat the process for the rest of the students.
 

Shut Down

  1. If needed, Log out of the Desktop computer. Do not shut down.
  2. On touch panel, ensure MEDIASITE button is selected. Mediasite button is located under MOUSE/KEYBOARD CONTROL in the bottom right area of screen.
  3. On touch panel, select Home.
  4. Select SYSTEM OFF.
  5. ARE YOU SURE? Select green check mark for Yes
