How to remove saved passwords from a web browser

Step-by-step guides

Google Chrome (Windows/macOS)

  1. Open Google Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. In the left menu, click Autofill and passwords (or Autofill > Passwords, depending on version).

  5. Under Saved passwords, locate the website entry you want to remove.

  6. Click the three dots beside it.

  7. Select Remove.

  8. Close the tab — your changes are saved automatically.

Microsoft Edge (Windows/macOS)

  1. Open Microsoft Edge.

  2. Click the three dots (⋯) in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Settings.

  4. Choose Profiles > Passwords.

  5. Scroll to Saved passwords.

  6. Find the credential you want to delete.

  7. Click the three dots next to it.
