Description

Instructions for displaying a laptop during an in-room meeting. 

Step-by-step guide

To display a laptop in-room only

  1. Use ClickShare to wirelessly display up to 4 laptops. See ClickShare instructions.
  2. Physically connect a laptop to the system.
 

Connect laptop at front or rear of room

  1. Physically connect to system:
  • Front Connections Plate located on side of front Cabinet.
  • Rear Connections Plate located in back corner, side of rear Cabinet.
  1. Select an HDMI or VGA/Audio cable from the front Cabinet drawer.
  2. Connect your laptop to the system:
  • Connect an HDMI or VGA/Audio cable to the Connections Plate and connect the other end to your laptop.
  • Connect audio by inserting one end of a mini audio cable into the laptop headphone jack and the other end into the Audio input.

Display laptop from front or rear of room

On Touch Panel:

  1. Select the Laptop Front or Laptop Rear icon. Your laptop will display through projector to projection screen.
  2. Adjust audio levels on the Touch Panel volume controls, or on the laptop volume.

No laptop image on screen?

These instructions apply to laptops physically connected to system:

  1. Hold down the Fn key and press F5, or the F key with a picture of a computer and a screen on it.
  2. Cycle through the settings and select one.
  3. Wait between settings; the laptop needs time to switch display modes.
