Clickshare Wireless laptop display

Description

ClickShare is available in select classrooms and meeting spaces. It allows users to wirelessly share their laptop screen to the room display from anywhere in the room. A ClickShare transmitter is located in the room cabinet. The transmitter connects to your laptop and communicates wirelessly with the ClickShare receiver built into the room's display system.

 • Transmitter plugs into your laptop
 • Laptop can then be shared wirelessly to the screen display
 • Receiver is built into Desk and always on USB-C transmitter 

Step-by-step guide

  1. Use the Classroom Touch Panel located on the instructor desk.
  2. Select the ClickShare icon.
  3. Plug the USB-C Clickshare transmitter into your laptop. The circular ring will flash white while installing ClickShare on the laptop.
  4. Open This PC or File Explorer on Windows or Finder on Mac. Find and open the drive called ClickShare.
  5. Open the drive and select either Clickshare_for_Windows or Clickshare_for_MacOSX software depending on your brand of laptop
  6. Double-click the software to install the ClickShare application. The software will install automatically.
  7. A pop-up screen will appear with this text: Ready to share to "Room Number”
  8. To start sharing your screen, press the button in the centre of the ClickShare transmitter.
  9. To stop sharing, press the centre button on the transmitter again.
  10. Next time you use ClickShare on the same laptop and in the same Classroom, plug in the USB-C ClickShare transmitter and WAIT about 30 seconds to see if the laptop auto-detects it. If not, repeat the steps above.

Shutdown

  1. Unplug the ClickShare transmitter from laptop.
  2. Return the ClickShare transmitters to the room cabinet and lock the cabinet.
  3. Select Shutdown button on Touch Panel.
