Testing Teams - Student Practice Organization

This guide is intended to help you test out Microsoft Teams on Blackboard to ensure it works for your class. You can complete this test at any time.

Step-by-step guide

1. Sign in to Blackboard with your CNA credentials: https://douglascollege.blackboard.com/ 
2. Go to Tools and Student Resources 
3. Join the Student Practice Organization - Get Started with Blackboard 
4. Under Content, scroll down and select Learn about Microsoft Teams Meeting.
5. Download the Microsoft Teams app by clicking on the link. 
6. Select Microsoft Education to join the Teams Practice Meeting. (Sign in with your student email. If you don't know your student email you can find it with these instructions https://solutions.douglascollege.ca/TDClient/163/Portal/KB/Article/7758/College-email-in-Microsoft-365)
7. Use the downloaded Microsoft Teams app. 
8. Do not use the web/browser app.
9. Chat has been disabled from the Teams Practice Meeting.
