C2031 Health Sciences Simulation Lab

1. In DEBRIEF ROOM, touch activate the Crestron panel.
2. Select SIMULATION / SIMULATION 3

In the CONTROL ROOM,

1. Activate Crestron panel. The main selection screen opens.
2. To send PATIENT ROOM video to Debrief Room: Select your Debrieng Room.
3. Select START SESSION.

4. Confirmation question window opens.
   Question: Will you be recording this session to Mediasite? Select NO to use simulation mode only.

5. SIMULATION MODE opens.

6. Adjust Master volume and PTT Patient Mic volume as needed.

1.  In the SIM 3/Patient Room, stage your nursing scenario. Four cameras are built into the patient room, with three Presets each. Review the scene.

2. Select PRESETS. Fine tune the framing with the camera controls. Familiarize yourself in order to select the optimum points of view.

3. Turn on respective SimPad and Laptop, either Sim Jr. or Nursing Baby.

4. Select VITALS or PC video to display onto DEBRIEF room monitor and SIM room monitor.

1. Press microphone button (red light appears) to speak to Patient Room.
2. On touch panel, select Talking to Debrief Room as needed
3. Select Voice Changer button as needed. Buttons turn green when on.

1. On touch panel, select Camera: CAM 1, 2,3 or 4 - located in the upper right of the Crestron screen.

2. Select your preferred PRESET 1, 2 or 3, then select TAKE. Selecting TAKE sends your selected video and audio to the Debrief Room.

3. To change perspective: Select a different PRESET then select TAKE.

4. To begin again:
   1.  Select Camera
   2. Select a PRESET
   3. Adjust framing using white arrows on screen
   4. Select TAKE

5.  Shut down
   1. Shut down the Mac laptop.
   2. On touch panel, select Home.

6. Select SYSTEM OFF

7. ARE YOU SURE? Select green check mark for Yes.
