How to open a ticket, report an issue, or submit a service request

Description

You can open tickets directly from this site to report an issue or problem, or to request a service.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Locate the service that you want to request by clicking the Services tab and browsing through our services.

Hint: You can also use the Search function to find services.

For general assistance, submit a ticket under the various 'Report an Issue' entries: Report an Issue

For specific requests, please consult the Service Catalogue and submit a ticket through the appropriate service: Service Catalogue

  1. When you find the service you are looking for, simply click the green button in the upper right corner. 

Note: The wording on this button changes depending on the service. For example:  Request Service; Report Issue

  1. If you are not already logged in to the site, you will be prompted to sign-in. Enter your Douglas College CNA username and password and follow the prompts to sign in.

  1. After signing in, you will be presented with a web form that needs to be filled out. While the form fields might vary depending on the service you are requesting, certain fields are standard on every form.
  2. You may also find a question mark (?) to the right of each field name. Click on it to view the help text for that field.
  3. The Description field is a field that is standard in many forms. This is where you should enter the details of what you are requesting or the issue you are experiencing if not already explicitly asked.
  4. When you are finished completing the form, click the Request button.

More information

Upon submission, a ticket is generated, the appropriate team is contacted and you'll receive an email confirmation.
