Classroom Standard 01

Description

Standard classrooms are equipped with a dedicated Projector Controller, PC, a Document Camera and HDMI connectivity for a laptop. HDMI cable is not provided. The Projector Controller is used to power on the projector and select which source (such as a computer or document camera) is displayed.

Step-by-step guide

Display the PC

  1. Turn on the classroom computer
  2. Log on using your College Network Access (CNA) username and password.
  3. On the room controller, select projector on.
  4. On the room controller, select PC.


Display the Document Camera

  1. On the document camera, select the Power button.
  2. On the document camera, select the Doc Cam button.
  3. On the room controller, select Display On.
  4. On the room controller, select VGA or Doc Cam. 
  5. Search "Document Camera" for more information.

 

Display a Laptop

  1. Turn on the laptop.
  2. Connect your HDMI cable to the laptop and the desk's HDMI input.
  3. On the room controller, select Display On.
  4. On the room controller, select HDMI or Laptop.

 

DVD or Blu-ray

DVD and Blu-ray players with set-up instructions are available from the Douglas College Library. 

 

Power Down

  1. Log out of the computer.
  2.  Turn off the projector: select the OFF button on the Projector Controller (Button no longer illuminates).
