This article describes how to connect to Wi-Fi on Android/Chromebook.
Please be aware each device manufacturer might have different settings and options.
These instructions are general and are not specific to any device.
Step-by-step guide - duroam
These are common fields and their settings.
1) Go to Settings
2) Open Network and Internet (this may be named Connections or something similar)

3) Select Internet (or something similar like Wi-Fi)

4) Select eduroam from the list of network hotspots.
5) Set the following fields if applicable. Field names may be different on your device:
EAP Method
|
PEAP
|
Phase 2 authentication
|
MSCHAPV2
|
Online certificate status
|
Select Do not verify, Do not check, or something similar.
Pixel phones use system certificates then select do not verify.
|
Domain
|
douglascollege.ca
|
Identity/Username
|
Your Douglas email
|
Password
|
CNA password
|
6) Press Join or Connect
General troubleshooting for eduroam
1) Go to Settings
2) Open Network and Internet (this may be named Connections or something similar)

3) Select Internet (or something similar like Wi-Fi)

4) In the list of network hotspots, select Forget each network if they are listed.
a. Douglas College Internal
b. Douglas College Guest
c. Eduroam

5) Power off and power on your device.
6) Return to the above steps to connect to eduroam
