Upgrading to Windows 10 version 22H2

If your computer is operating on an older version of Windows 10, Microsoft requires it to be upgraded to the latest version, 22H2, by June 11, 2024. IT Services will be performing an in-place upgrade on computers running older versions of Windows 10 outside of business hours in the coming months. Please note, the in-place upgrade will NOT remove your existing applications and data on your computer.

For your convenience, you have the option to initiate the in-place upgrade to avoid an unscheduled interruption. Note that the upgrade can take from 30 to 90 minutes to complete, and the computer will reboot several times. You can use the following instructions to initiate the in-place upgrade:

  1. Open Software Center on your computer. You can use the search bar on the taskbar to search for it. You can also find it by opening the Start Menu and navigating to Microsoft Endpoint Manager > Software Center.Uploaded Image (Thumbnail)
